Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus for packing stacked plate pieces transported on a conveyer in a pallet or in a case such as a wooden box in a substantially vertical posture, which can conduct a course of operations assuredly, safely and quickly. CONSTITUTION:In case of loading a pallet 68 (or a case 69) with stacked plate pieces 8, the plate pieces 8 are first transported by a conveyer 6 until they are brought into contact with a stopper 16, and then a support table 12 is turned by a cylinder 14 in such a manner that the plate pieces 8 have a substantially vertical posture. After a positioning plate 59 is turned upward by a cylinder, the positioning plate 59 is retreated to be brought into contact with the front of the plate piece by the cylinder 63. Subsequently, a fork 17 is raised by a cylinder 35 so that the plate pieces 8 are transferred onto the fork 17, the back thereof being supported by a back-up rod 44 moved by a cylinder 48. After that, the positioning plate 59 is retreated, and the fork 17 is advanced and lowered so that the plate pieces 8 are transferred onto the pallet 68.

A pallet for stacking plate-like objects such as glass plates should have a leaning surface that is tilted several degrees to prevent the plate-like objects from collapsing, and a mounting surface that makes it easy to place the plate-like objects. It is completely horizontal. However, the angle between the mounting surface and the back of a container such as a wooden box is 90 degrees, and if the back is tilted forward by several degrees, the mounting surface will also be tilted forward and downward by the same angle. It is very difficult to automatically load plate-like objects vertically into both wooden boxes and the like.

The pallet 68#'i is placed on the platform 67 with the mounting surface horizontal and the vertical structure 70 in which the fork 17 is recessed between the cores aligned with the path of the 7 oaks 17, and the pallet front KFi is stacked vertically. Since it has a front wall 71 that tilts and supports the plate-like body 8, the traveling body 18 is first adjusted horizontally by the hydraulic cylinder 29, and then supported by the fork 17 and the row 256 of the backup rod 44, as will be described later. The upright angle of the link 42 is adjusted by the air cylinder 53 so that the stacked plate-shaped body 8 has a predetermined upright angle, for example, 80 degrees.

Further, when the container 69 is used, the container itself is tilted forward and placed on the mounting table 72, so that the mounting surface inside the container is also tilted. Therefore, the hydraulic cylinder 29 is used to tilt the traveling body 18 forward and downward so as to be parallel to the mounting surface, and at the same time, the air cylinder 53 is used to adjust the syringe 42 to the predetermined upright angle.

(1) When the laminated plate body 8 transferred by the conveyor 6 comes into contact with the stopper 16, the conveyor 6 stops, and the hydraulic cylinder 14 shortens to rotate the support base 12.
The support stand 12 stops when the laminated plate-shaped body 8 becomes substantially vertical. When this rotation is stopped, the shear cylinder 65 is activated to rotate the positioning plate 59 upward, and then the air cylinder 63 is activated to move the positioning plate 59 backward so that it comes into contact with the front surface of the laminated plate 1.

Then, the air cylinder 35 is shortened to raise the fork 17 along the buffer material 60 of the positioning plate 59, and the laminated plate-like body 8 is transferred onto the fork 17 with its front surface aligned with the tip of the fork 17. At the same time, compressed air is injected into the bellows 40 to fix the front and rear positions of the fork 170.

(2) When the above operation is completed, the air cylinder 65.6
5 operates in reverse and rotates the positioning plate 59 out of the path of 7 oak 17. Next, the hydraulic cylinder 31 is extended to move the traveling body 18 forward, the fork 17 moves forward through the vertical groove 70, and the detection rod 60 is activated on the front wall 71 of the pallet or the laminated plate-shaped body 8a already stacked on the pallet 6B. When the loading and unloading position corresponding to 1 is reached, the detection signal is generated and the traveling body 18 is stopped, and at the same time, the air cylinder 35 is operated in reverse to lower the fork 17, and the laminated plate body 8 is moved from the fork 17 to the pallet 68. Translated above. Then, the air cylinder 55 is extended, and the backup rod 44 is tilted forward together with the link 42, so that the laminated plate-like body 8 is allowed to lean against the front wall 71 or the laminated plate-like body 8a without any gap. Note that the support stand 12Fi returns to the original position while the traveling body 1B is moving forward.

a support base that rotates the laminated plate-like body to be transferred in a horizontal position to a substantially upright position forward in the transfer direction; and a fork for supporting the lower surface of the laminated plate-like body in the upright position at the front end, which can be raised and lowered; A running body that moves in and out of the storage container in parallel with the mounting surface of the storage container in which the laminated plate bodies are stacked vertically, and a #1 supporting body that is supported on the running body so as to be tiltable back and forth and the rear surface of the laminated plate body on the fork.
The back-up rod supports the laminate plate upright, and after the fork lifts the laminated plate body from the support stand onto the 7-oak, the back-up rod supports the rear surface of the laminated plate body and stores the traveling body. Then, by lowering the fork 1, the laminated plate-like body is transferred to the storage container, the laminated plate-like body is pressed by the back-up lever, and the traveling body is moved back.
