タンク内に貯蔵されたインクが終りに近づいた時、また
はインクタンク内にもはやインクが無くなった時の検出
装置として、インクタンク内に電極を設け、インク残量
の炭化による抵抗値の炭化な利用する構造が、一般に用
いられている。この場合、電極は脱着可能なインクタン
ク偏に固定され、インクタンク案内に固定された弾性体
接片と接触することにより、電気的接続がなされる構造
