Abstract

PURPOSE:A solid make-up cosmetic that is made by adding an appropriate amount of mica whose crystal water is removed to pearl pigments and the oil base, thus showing high impact strength in spite of high content of the pearl pigments and causing no caking while used. CONSTITUTION:The objective solid make-up cosmetic is made by adding 5- 60wt% of mica whose crystal water is removed by heating or vacuum deaeration to 30-80wt% of pearl pigments such as of titanium-mica or titanium-inorganic pigments-mica along with 10-35wt% of oil such as olive oil, lanolin or squalane. The resultant cosmetic can freely contain a wide range in amounts of the pearl pigments so that the largest make-up effect can be developed according to the purposes of individual products.

Detailed Description of the Invention: Although the present invention contains a large amount of pearl pigment, it has strong impact resistance, and even when used, it does not caking (the surface has an oily shine), and the cosmetics can be used on cosmetic puffs, brushes, and tips. This invention relates to solid makeup cosmetics that do not cause problems such as inability to be removed.

In order to improve these drawbacks, the present inventors conducted a huge number of experiments on various powder combinations, oil content combinations, and amounts of each component. The inventors have discovered that it is possible to incorporate a large amount of oil without fear of causing caking, and based on this knowledge they have completed the present invention.

That is, the present invention contains 5 to 60% by weight of mica obtained by dehydrating crystallization water, 30 to 80% by weight of Burl pigment, and 10 to 3% by weight of oil.
The object of the present invention is to provide a solid makeup cosmetic characterized in that it contains 5% by weight.

Conventionally, clay minerals such as mica contain water of crystallization in their structures, but the mica that has been dehydrated from water of crystallization used in the present invention is one that has been dehydrated from water of crystallization by heating or vacuum degassing81. When dehydrating by I0 heating, it is necessary to treat it at a temperature of 700"C or more for 2 hours or more, but at that time, it is possible to dehydrate it at the raw ore stage and then crush it, or to dehydrate it after crushing it. It may be processed.

Dehydration of clay minerals generally reduces the adhesion of powders based on water of crystallization, but the same holds true for mica, and the adhesion decreases as the processing temperature increases.

As is clear from FIG. 11, when the treatment temperature is 700° C. or higher, the adhesion of the powder is significantly reduced, and this confirms that the water of crystallization in the mica is dehydrated.

The amount of mica that has been dehydrated from crystal water is 5 to 60% by weight based on the weight of the cosmetic. If it is less than 5% by weight, caking will occur; if it is more than 60% by weight, it will not be possible to incorporate a large amount of pearl pigment due to the formulation structure, so there will be no advantage. Dehydrated mica must have an oil content of 50% or more by weight.

The oils used in the present invention include various vegetable oils, animal oils, mineral oils, and synthetic oils commonly used in cosmetics. Examples include olive oil, lanolin, liquid paraffin, squalane, silicone oil, and various ester oils. When the ingredients runny, oil may bleed onto the surface of the cosmetic, or the contents may become smudged when removed with a puff, brush, or tip, which is not practical.

Although the solid makeup cosmetic of the present invention contains a large amount of temporary pearl pigment, it has good impact resistance and does not cause caking, so it can be tailored to the purpose of each individual product. This cosmetic product has been long awaited in the market because it allows the user to freely mix in the amount of pearl pigment that maximizes the makeup effect.
