Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively use a hand lamp as a hazard preventive sign, by both decreasing voltage of a storage battery through an electromagnet and utilizing the electromagnet as a fixed tool when a power source to the hand lamp with a bulb for use of a dry cell is used in place of the storage battery. CONSTITUTION:A main bulb 1 and subbulb 2 consisting of a miniature bulb for dry cell use are selected by a selector switch 3 while turned on through a relay 5 and jack 6 by an electric conduction circuit A with a dry cell 4 or an electric conduction circuit B with a storage battery. Now if the jack 6 is connected to the storage battery, the relay 5 is automatically turned off, and an electric current of the storage battery turns on the bulb 1 or 2 by dropping the voltage to dry cell voltage through an electromagnet 7 interposed in the circuit b. While this electromagnet 7 is used as a fixing tool for fixing a hand lamp to a prescribed position of an automobile. In this way, the hand lamp can be effectively used as a hazard preventive sign.

When using these lighting equipment, for example, as a danger prevention sign when a car breaks down, the usage time is long and the light emitted is quite strong, so one dry battery is used as a power source. However, since there is a risk that the amount of electricity would be insufficient, attempts have been made to use automobile storage batteries as a power source. However, the voltage of a storage battery is 12V to 24V, and the light bulb used as a light emitter is compatible with the voltage of the dry cell battery. Lifespan will be significantly shortened.

For this reason, when using storage batteries as a power source, attempts have been made to incorporate a resistor into the circuit and lower the voltage of the storage battery to the voltage of a dry battery. Due to the large size of the resistor, the resistor would generate heat to a temperature that could reach a certain temperature, which would be dangerous, and heat loss would also occur, so it could not be put to practical use.

A handheld lamp is a portable electric light powered by two to six dry cell batteries (not shown), and is usually equipped with an incandescent light bulb called a light bulb. This allows the light to be focused and radiated forward. Others are equipped with a fluorescent tube or a light bulb in addition to the above-mentioned bulb for forward illumination, and the latter light bulb illuminates a wide area. When a car breaks down at night, handheld lights are used to illuminate the broken area and as a beacon to let other cars know that the car is stopped. All handheld lights must be placed in a fixed location. In particular, when this lamp is mounted on the roof of a car as a sign light, it must be fixed and fit so that it will not be blown away by the wind.Symbol 1 in the figure is the main light bulb. . This thing is
The above-mentioned headlight bulb for the hand-held electric lamp is located near the focal point of the animal-faced mirror, and serves as a light source that emits concentrated, strong light in the forward direction. It is something. 2 is a retrobulb. This lamp has a relatively wide front area that is entirely black, and uses the same light bulb or fluorescent tube as the main light bulb 1 described above. An energizing circuit A is formed between the main bulb 1 and the secondary bulb 2 and a dry battery 4 via a changeover switch 3.

This relay 5 is normally in a energized state, and is automatically turned off only when connected to a jack 6'f (storage battery) to be described later. Changeover switch 3 and light bulb 1
.. Another energizing circuit B is also formed between 2 and 2.
In this circuit, a jack 6 dE is attached to the selector switch 3 (common) side, and it is not necessary to connect the circuit B to a storage battery (not shown) via this jack 6, and it is also connected to the light bulb 1.2 side, i.e. An electromagnet 7 is installed between the jack 6 and the light bulb, so that the current flowing through the light bulb 1.2 is reduced to a voltage suitable for the entire light bulb. Jack 6 is a terminal for connecting the storage battery to circuit B', so by connecting it to the cigarette lighter socket in the driver's cabin via the connection cord,
There is no need to say that it is desirable to form the electromagnet 7 so as to be connected to a storage battery, and the electromagnet 7 is to be attached to a suitable position on the lower side of a handheld electric lamp, for example, when a stand is attached to a handheld electric lamp. Tokiha (for example, Jitsugan 52-
132389) One method is to attach it to this stand.

As described above, the present invention can be used as a power source by switching between a dry cell battery and a storage battery. In particular, all light bulbs that are compatible with the voltage of dry cell batteries as a power source can be used, and the power source can be switched to a storage battery. When replacing the light, the voltage is lowered by an electromagnet, and the electromagnet is used as a fixture to fix the handheld light in a desired position on the car.

Therefore, the electric current of the storage battery is used effectively and there is no waste, and since the handheld lamp is fixed in one place, it becomes effective as a sign for preventing danger. Although the above-mentioned embodiment has been explained using a hand lantern as an example, it is not limited to this, and as already mentioned, it can be similarly applied to danger prevention signs, etc. In this case, however, it is not necessary to switch between the main bulb 1 and the secondary bulb 2, and it is sufficient if the main bulb 1 consists of several bulbs connected in parallel. The figure shows an example in which a relay 8 is installed between the electromagnet 7 and the changeover switch 3. This is designed so that all the electromagnets are activated even when all the bulbs are not lit.In addition to being operated manually, the relay 8 can also be attached to the bottom of the body of the light emitting device, and the light emitting device can be moved to a desired position on the car. The circuit is automatically closed when it comes into contact with the lamp, so that the luminous device can be used as a marker not only at night but also during the day.
