[Detailed description of the invention] This invention relates to a light catadioptric experiment device that uses a reflecting mirror and a prism to perform light reflection and refraction experiments inside a mirror box. An arbitrary optical system is created by combining the reflecting mirror surface of the box with a prism and a reflecting mirror that are inserted into arbitrary fitting holes in the bottom wall of the box, and this optical system allows the light beam incident from the slit hole of the light entrance part of the box to be detected. To provide an experimental tool for teaching materials, which allows observing the state of reflection and refraction of light by refracting it and reflecting it in various directions.

An embodiment of this invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In the drawing, 1 is a mirror box with an open top, and a light entrance part 3 is provided at one end with a slit hole 2 through which illumination light S enters the box. In addition, a reflective mirror surface 4a is provided on the inner surface of the side end plate 4 facing the light incident portion and on the inner surface of the both side plates 5 and 6 perpendicular to the side end plate 4, respectively.

Further, the prism fitting hole 8 is made to have a larger diameter than the reflecting mirror fitting hole 9, so that the incident band light S from the slit hole 2 is
Although there are two holes spaced apart from each other in the rectilinear direction of the reflector, they may be formed to have the same size as the fitting hole 9 for the reflecting mirror so that they can be used as a common fitting hole for both.

Then, by inserting the prism 10 and the reflecting mirror 11 into arbitrary fitting holes 8 and 9 in the bottom wall T of the box, and setting their orientation in an appropriate direction so that the incident beam S' is refracted and reflected. ,
By combining the prism 10, the reflecting mirror 11, and the reflecting mirror surfaces 4a to 6a in the mirror box 1, it is possible to create an arbitrary optical system, such as the optical system shown in FIG. By refracting the incident band ray S' or reflecting it in various directions, it is possible to observe the state and conduct various experiments on light incidence, refraction, etc.
