Conventionally, there have been methods for preventing dust on the convergent optical transmission body in a multi-function machine, such as those using a shutter mechanism, those using static electricity, those using air 7o-, and those using dust-proof glass. All of these dustproof measures had various problems.

In other words, those that use a shutter mechanism as a dust prevention means have a complicated structure, an increased number of parts, high cost, and lack of reliability. In this case, the electric charge not only affects the photoreceptor in the copying machine and degrades the image quality, but also has the drawback of causing dust of opposite polarity to adhere to the focusing light transmitter. The dust-proofing efficiency of the equipment used differs depending on the structure near the converging light transmitter, and therefore, in order to improve the dust-proofing efficiency, it is necessary to install a dedicated air duct, fan, etc., which increases the cost. In addition, in the case of using dustproof glass as a dustproofing means, although it is useful for dustproofing the converging light transmitter, if the dustproofing glass itself gets dirty, the dustproofing function will not be fulfilled. Therefore, some proposals have been made in which the dust-proof glass is removably attached, and if the dust-proof glass gets dirty, it can be removed and cleaned. There are problems such as forgetting to attach the lens and obtaining copies with poor resolution due to the lens being out of focus.

A transparent dust-proof glass 8 is provided on the lower end surface of the convergent light transmitting body 3, that is, on the image side end surface, with a slight gap α. As shown in FIG. 2, the dust-proof glass g has a rectangular glass substrate 9 having a predetermined length with a gripping member 10 attached to one end, that is, the base, and a stopper member 11 attached to the other end, that is, the tip. Furthermore, the structure is such that a cleaning material 12 is attached to the stopper material 11, and the glass substrate 9 is
The gripping material Jot-1! It can be slidably installed in the extended state (see Figure 3). At this time, the cleaning material 12 is arranged so as to come into sliding contact with the lower end surface, that is, the image-side end surface of the focusing light transmitting body 3.

On one end side of the mounting enclosing member 13, that is, on the gripping member 10 side of the dustproof glass 8, there is a cleaning member 16.16 having a blade 15 made of rubber, sponge, felt, etc., as shown in FIG. It is attached to the top and bottom of the dust-proof glass 8 via appropriate mounting members 17.17, so that each blade 15.15 of the cleaning member 16.16 comes into sliding contact with both the top and bottom surfaces of the glass base 9 of the dust-proof glass 8. It is deployed in The state in which the grade 15 of the cleaning member 16 is in sliding contact with the glass substrate 9 is perpendicular to the sliding direction of the glass substrate 9, as shown in FIG. Figure 4 (Bl
As shown in Figure 1, the glass substrate 9 is arranged at an angle α with respect to the sliding direction, and a lateral biasing force is applied to the dirt scraped off by the grade 15, so that it is moved from the surface of the glass substrate 9. It is preferable to prevent dirt from accumulating on the surface of the glass substrate 9 by falling to the side, and the angle α is 30°.
It is preferable that c'≦α<90°, and when viewed from the side, as shown in FIG. , as shown in FIG. 5(B), the cleaning performance is better when the glass substrate 9 is inclined at an angle β with respect to the sliding direction, and the angle β is 30c'≦β<90 ° is desirable.

According to the embodiment configured as described above, it is possible to prevent the image-side end surface of the convergent light transmitting body 3 from being contaminated by the dust-proof glass 8, and if the dust-proof glass 8 is contaminated, it is necessary to hold the gripping member 10. By sliding the dustproof glass 8, both sides of the glass base 90 of the dustproof glass g can be cleaned by the cleaning member 16, 16. When the dustproof glass 8 is slid, the cough dustproof glass δ The cleaning material 12 provided at the tip also cleans the image-side end surface of the convergent light transmitting body 3.

As described above, the dustproof device for a converging light transmitting body in a copying machine according to the present invention slides the dustproof glass g that faces the image side end surface of the convergent light transmitting body 3 and shields the image side end surface. A cleaning member 16° 16 is provided movably, and is provided at the end of the convergent light transmitting body 3 in the sliding direction of the dustproof glass 8, and is in sliding contact with the upper and lower surfaces of the glass base 9 of the dustproof glass g. From there, the image side end surface of the convergent light transmitting body 3 is covered with a dustproof glass 8.
Not only can dust-proof glass 8 be shielded and prevented from getting dirty, but if the dust-proof glass 8 is dirty, by sliding the dust-proof glass ε, both upper and lower surfaces of the glass base 9 of the dust-proof glass 8 can be cleaned with the cleaning member 16. Cleaning of the dust-proof glass 8 involves simply sliding the dust-proof glass 8, so there is no risk of damage or installation, like when removing the dust-proof glass 8. This eliminates the need to forget to attach the dustproof glass 8, and also eliminates problems such as forgetting to install the dustproof glass 8, which causes the image plane to shift out of focus and cause poor resolution.
