That is, for example, when the movement guide member 9 is omitted and the rear convex portion 16 is moved directly to the rear vertical groove portion 6, the rear convex portion 16 moves from the horizontal groove portion (5 to the rear vertical groove portion 6). There is no risk that the guided plate 14, that is, the cassette pedestal B, will tilt toward the rear or bump into the rear vertical groove 6 due to the convex portion 16 temporarily losing support at a corner. This point is exactly the same when moving the cassette pedestal B from the operating position to the loading/unloading position.

By the way, in the above embodiment, the driving pinion 21 and the slave U1 pinion 20 are interlocked and connected by the U1 leaf 19 suspended on the cassette pedestal B so that the two pinions 21 and 20 are rotated synchronously. According to this method, as described above and as shown in the figure, the mechanical part of the drive device including the worm gear 22, the drive arm 24, and the worm gear mechanism 25 only needs to be installed on one side of the cassette frame A, so that the overall structure of the drive device is simplified. It has advantages such as low parts cost and low assembly cost, easy assembly, and high mass productivity. However, in the present invention, the specific configuration of the drive device is not particularly limited. For example, the same drive mechanism may be provided on both left and right sides of the cassette frame A, and these drive mechanisms on both sides may be connected by a power transmission shaft suspended and fixed to the cassette frame A. ,
The transmission shaft may be rotationally driven by a motor installed on one side of the cassette frame. In addition, in the drive device, as a means for applying the driving force from the drive mechanism to the cassette pedestal B as a moving force, in the above embodiment, the rack has the advantage that there is no risk of slipping and the left and right synchronization is ensured. 18.18 and binions 20.21 are used, but rolling rollers may be used instead. on the other hand,
In the moving device of the present invention, in the above-mentioned embodiment, the convex portions 15. which are slidably fitted into the fixed guide F grooves 4, 4 on the cassette frame A side on the outer surfaces of the left and right side plates ll, 11 of the cassette pedestal B. Although the guided plates 14 and 14 having the guide plates 16 and 16 are fixed, for example, the cassette pedestal may be made of plastic, and the guided convex portions may be integrally provided on the outer surfaces of both side walls of the cassette pedestal. Furthermore, in the above embodiment, two vertical grooves on the cassette frame side and two guided protrusions on the cassette holder side that engage with the vertical grooves were provided in the front and rear, but these vertical grooves and guided protrusions Only one strip is sufficient as long as the balance can be maintained when moving the pedestal.

As described above, according to the uninvented cassette moving device,
Although it has a simple structure of just recessing a fixed guide groove on the cassette frame side and fitting the movable guide member and the guided convex part on the cassette holder side into this guide groove, it is possible to move the cassette to the loading/unloading position. A cassette in a magnetic recording and reproducing device that uses this type of so-called cassette front loading/unloading system, which allows the cassette to be moved smoothly and reliably between the operating position and the operating position in a stable state without any tilting, wobbling, shaking, etc. This can greatly contribute to improving the reliability of loading and unloading operations.
