Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain stable movement by keeping the meshed state between a pinion and a rack stably through the fitting of a guide slot and a roller to eliminate the tilt of a support base even when a U-shaped link part is ascended/ descended while being turned. CONSTITUTION:Rollers 15, 16 are placed apart from the inner face 29a of the guide slot 29. Moreover, the roller 14 is fitted to the guide slot 28 and brought into contact with the inner face 28a to regulate the height of the support base 6 together with a guide pole 30. The prescribed distance of the pickup 4 to a disk is kept by the regulation of height and the stable meshed state between racks 17, 18 and pinions 12, 13 is maintained and stable linear movement of a support base 6 is attained. Similarly, the movement by upper linear state parts 22, 23 is executed. That is, the vertical height of the support base 6 is regulated by the roller 14 fitted to the guide slot 28 and the guide pole 31 fitted to a fitting hole 36 and the stable meshed state of the racks 17, 18 and the pinions 12, 13 is maintained.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (a) Field of Industrial Application The present invention relates to a pickup and transfer device for a disc player that reproduces information recorded on both sides of a disc.

(b) Conventional technology Conventionally, when playing a disc recorded on both sides with a compact disc player or optical video disc player, the disc is removed once the information on one side has been played, and the disc is turned over. The other side needed to be regenerated. This was extremely cumbersome to operate, and continuous reproduction of both sides was impossible. Therefore, the present applicant previously proposed a technique in Japanese Patent Application No. 130717/1983 that enables continuous reproduction of both sides of a disc using a single pickup.

In the prior art, linear guide members are provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the disc together with a guide shaft so that both sides of the disc can be played back, and these two guide members are connected by a U-shaped guide to form a pair of guide members. The pickup guide member is formed with a rack portion on one pickup guide member and a guide groove on the other side, and a drive gear that meshes with the rack portion and a drive gear that meshes with the rack portion on the side surface of a support base that supports the pickup and that fits in the guide groove. The present invention is characterized in that the support base is moved along the guide member by disposing rollers that drive the drive gear.

(C) Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the prior art, there is no problem with the movement of the linear part that performs simple horizontal movement guided by the guide shaft, but the upward pickup is possible without the guide shaft. When the support base moves through a U-shaped guide that must rotate completely downward, uneven driving force is applied to the drive gear and rollers, so the drive gear side moves first and the support base moves. The pair of U-shaped guides will be moved in an inclined state, which may make movement difficult.

(d) Means for solving the problem A pair of drive gears arranged on both sides of the support base that supports the pickup are connected to the first linear part that guides the radial movement of the front surface of the disk and the radial direction of the back surface. The supporting base is moved by meshing with a rack portion continuously formed on the inner surface of a pair of guide means consisting of a second linear portion for guiding movement and a U-shaped connecting portion for connecting both linear portions. (E) Function Since the present invention has #/I as described above, equal driving force is applied to the drive gears on both sides of the support base, so when moving through the U-shaped part, either the left or the right Never lean towards it.

The same applies to movement in the upper linear portions (22) and (23). That is, as shown in FIG. 9, the support base (6) is highly restricted in the vertical direction by the guide ball (31) that fits into the fitting hole (36) and the roller (14) that fits into the guide groove (28). racks (17) (18

In the first embodiment, the shape of the fitting hole (36) formed in the support base (6) is Ω (ohm), but when this support base (6) is integrally molded from resin or aluminum, etc. In order to achieve a stable fitting state with the guide poles (30) and (31), extremely high processing accuracy is required. ) (16) is arranged at a height where it comes into contact with the inner surface (29a) of the guide groove (29), and the height of the support base (6) is regulated by rollers (14>(15) and (16)). Also, while moving on the upper linear portions (22) and (23), the rollers (15) < 16) are moving on the inner surface (29) of the guide groove (29) as shown in Fig. 15.
