  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 吸気バルブ開閉用のカム軸と、排気バルブ開閉用のカム
    軸とを個々独立に有する内燃機関において、 前記両カム軸のうち少なくとも一方のカム軸と、クラン
    ク軸により駆動されるカム軸タイミングプ７−リとを、
    所定角度相対回転可能として嵌合さ症、前記プーリには
    、前記カム軸周面に突設した突起に作用力を付与せしめ
    て前記プーリの回転数に応じて該プーリと前記カム軸と
    の相対回転位置ｉ変化させる相対回転位置調整機構を設
    け、該相対回転位置調整機構を介して前記相対回転位置
    を変化させることにより、前記プーリの回転数が小さい
    ときは前記両バルブのバルブオーバーラツプ角が小とさ
    れ、前記プーリの回転数が大きいときは前記バルブオー
    バーラツプ角が大となるようにしたことを特徴とする可
    変バルブタイミング装置。
