本発明は、産業廃水や下水の脱水処理により発生する脱
水ケーキや濃縮汚泥をその後の処理に適するように造粒
する方法に関する。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for granulating dehydrated cake and concentrated sludge generated by dehydration treatment of industrial wastewater and sewage so as to be suitable for subsequent treatment.
従来は、例えば製鉄所の転炉ダストや高炉ダストのスラ
リー液を脱水して得られる脱水ケーキをミキサーで乾燥
した粉体と一緒に混合することにより造粒していた。し
かしながら、脱水ケーキがミキサーで押圧される際に水
分が出て来るので多量の乾粉が必要であった。また、ミ
キサーで得られる粒子には微粒子や粗大な粒子が混じっ
ていて粒度が一様ではなかった。このことは、その後の
処理においである一定の粒度以上のものが所望される場
合に非常に不都合であった。さらに、脱水ケーキをその
後の処理に適するように解砕する装置もあるが、解砕後
の材料には微粒子が相当量含まれ、列えば直径1醪以内
のものが5〜10%も含まれ、このような微粒子分がそ
の後の取扱かいにおいて例えば粉塵発生の原因となる等

本発明の目的は、上記の欠点を除去して、脱水ケーキま
たは濃縮汚泥をその後の処理に適する、所望の、かつ一

上記の目的は、本発明により、脱水ケーキや濃縮汚泥を
解砕し、できた解砕物をさらに公知の造粒機を用いて造
粒することにより達成される。特に高含水の脱水ケーキ
には、集塵灰または石灰粉のような乾燥した粉体を加え
た後解砕し、造粒すれば、有利である。また、造粒機と
しては、粒子の転勤により造粒するようになっているパ

する方法において、脱水ケーキや濃縮汚泥を解砕し、で
きた解砕物をさらに公知の造粒機を用いて造粒すること
を特徴とする方法。 (2)特に高含水の脱水ケーキには乾燥した粉体を加え
