。 図中、１は吸収塔、４は吸収液、７は循環ポンプ、８は
スプレノズル、９は吸収塔内を上昇する排ガス、１０は
吸収塔内を降下する吸収液である。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 上部より噴霧され降下する吸収液と下部より導入され上
    昇する排ガスとを接触反応させて排ガス中の脱硫処理を
    行なう排ガス脱硫装置の吸収塔において、該吸収塔内に
    導入される排ガスを毎秒０．４〜１メートルの流速にす
    べく塔内径を拡大したことを特徴とする排ガス脱硫装置
    の吸収塔。
