ンジンが回転しているか否かを判定する回転判定手段と
、エンジンのクランク軸の回転に同期した信号を発生す
るクランク角センサの信号を入力して該信号の有無を判
定する信号有無判定手段と、上記回転判定手段の出力と
上記信号有無判定手段の出力とを入力して論理判定し、
エンジン回転中にクランク角センサの信号が発生してい
ない場合にクランク角センサが故障であるとの判定信号
を出力する論理判定手段とを備えたクランク角センサの
故障検出装置。 (2)上記のエンジンの動作状態を示す信号として、下
記(1)〜(9)のうちのいずれか一つ又は二つ以上を
組合せて用いることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範
