Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a burner for COM superior in wear resisting property, by determining the Vickers hardness of burner material higher than 1,000. CONSTITUTION:A burner body is molded by arbitarily blending several kinds of material such as porcelain alumina, densified silicon carbode, and densified silicon nitride, of which Vickers hardenesses are higher than 1,000. The numeral 1 shows a COM feeding port, 2 shows a sprayed steam feeding port, and 3 is a mixing chamber. By the intermediary of the mixing chamber 3, COM is sprayed from the ports 5 of a spray cap 4. With such an arrangement, a burner for COM superior in wear resisting property can be obtained.

The present invention is a COM burner Kr1l with excellent wear resistance.
Therefore, when eOM is atomized by high-velocity fluid, it is subject to significant wear, especially at the fuel focus. For this reason, heat-resistant and wear-resistant steel such as 8U8304 or high manganese steel was used in the past, but its lifespan was extremely short compared to when oil was used as the fuel. However, even if a burner made of ceramics, which is harder than coal, was used, the service life could not be expected with conventional chamotte or high alumina burners.

A mixture of 70 parts by weight of heavy oil and 70 parts by weight was prepared. This was preheated to 95°C and fed under pressure through a burner at a pressure of 12415i, while water vapor at a pressure of 13 kf/cIA and water vapor at a pressure of 6
Water of 4/c, i was force-fed to the burner and atomized from the burner having the structure shown in FIG. 1, and a wear resistance test of the burner was conducted. In the figure, 1 is a COM supply port, 2 is a spray steam supply port, and 3 is a mixing chamber, from which COM is atomized from the hole 5 of the spray cap 4.

Although the burner structure in the above embodiment was constructed of four materials, it may be made of a suitable combination of porcelain alumina, dense silicon carbide, and dense silicon nitride. In this case, it is preferable not to use tan 1 gesten carbide or titanium carbide in combination, as their thermal I# expansion is significantly different from that of queen ceramic.
