Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve retainability of the titled component being used and removability at the time of recorrection, by a method wherein a weight balance correction component for an aeroplane is constituted of an upper layer material made of a rubber composite of high specific gravity and a lower layer material made of a rubber composite of low tensile strength, and the lower layer material is made to adhere to the inner surface of the tire. CONSTITUTION:An upper layer material 6 having thickness of 2-10mm. is formed of a rubber composite having specific gravity of more than 1.5, a lower layer material 7 having thickness of 0.5-1.5mm. is formed of a rubber composite having tensile strength of 1-100kg/cm<2>, and a paste layer 8, such as an adhesive for rubber is formed. This component material 11 mounted on an inner plate layer 1 of an inner surface of a light weight part of a tire 10 placed on a cradle 9 by making the paste layer of the material 11 down is pressed and heated by a hot plate 12 for adherence. With this constitution, retainability of the component material being used is improved and it is easily removed off at the lower layer 7 part whose tensile strength is low.

When the tread of an aircraft tire wears down to a certain thickness during takeoff and landing, it is reused by removing the worn tread with a puff and replacing it with a new tread layer. It is generally said that this method can be reused 5 to 6 times, but since replacing the new tread layer will disrupt the overall weight balance of the tire, it is necessary to readjust the balance by some method. It was necessary to do it.

However, in methods (1) and (2) above, it is necessary to scrape off the correction rubber mixture once fixed using a puff or the like during the next correction, but this removal work is not necessarily easy. During the removal process, the inner liner layer is easily damaged, which is a major cause of defects in cranks and the like. Furthermore, the method (3) above has a problem in that the weights may peel off or move during running.

One embodiment of this weight variation correction member is schematically shown in FIG. A lower layer material 7 is provided, and a glue layer 8 is provided below the lower layer material 7. It is preferable to use a rubber composition with a specific gravity of 1.5 or more as the upper layer material 6, and it is preferable to use a rubber composition with a tensile strength of 1 to 100 Kf/- as the lower layer material 7. If the specific gravity of the upper layer material 6 is too low, it will not function sufficiently as a weight for lance correction. Also, if the tensile strength of the lower layer material 7 is less than lKf/i, the impact during running will There is a risk of peeling off, 4 out of 100

In this case, the composition of the plate materials may be different. The thickness (2) of the lower layer material 7 is preferably about 0.5 to 15 u, more preferably about 1 u. The lower layer material 7 can also be made of a composite material if necessary. Note that as the material for the glue 1i8, a rubber adhesive having appropriate strength, such as rubber dissolved in a solvent, can be used. Further, the shape and dimensions of the single weight balance correction member may be appropriately selected depending on the conditions of use.

As explained above, the weight balance correction member according to the present invention has an upper layer material with high specific gravity, so it has a high weight balance correction ability, and a lower layer material with low tensile strength is provided below the upper layer material. Therefore, it is easy to remove when re-editing. In other words, compressive force mainly acts on the correction member attached to the inner surface of the tire's inner liner during driving due to the action of centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the tire, and almost no tensile force or shear force is applied. Therefore, even if there is an underlying material with low tensile strength, there is no risk of it being peeled off, or it can be easily peeled off from the underlying material with low tensile strength during reconditioning.

In this way, the combination of the upper layer material with high specific gravity and the lower layer material with low tensile strength results in an extremely slanted member for correcting weight balance. It is clear that this weight Balanos correction member can be used not only for aircraft tires, but also for trucks, buses, civil engineering vehicles, and the like.
