【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、リムとディスクとの特殊な結合から成る車輪
及びその製造方法に関し、その主たる目的とするところ
は、リムとディスク相互の材質が異なる場合、例えばリ
ムが金属製でディスクかプラスチック材製の場合等にお
ける溶接不能の問題を解消し、併せて特にリベット組付
けによるチューブレスタイヤの場合のエアー洩れ防止を
はかる点にある。

おいても両者が共に溶接可能な材質である場合には、そ

が、特にリベット止めによる組立ての場合においてはチ
ューブレスタイヤを使用した場合にリベット止着部から
エアー洩れを招起し易く、またアーク溶接等の場合も含
めて、リムの直接的結合部分はスポット溶接され、或い
はリベット止めされた所謂点ないしは各部分のみである
ために車輪全体としての強度としては必ずしも十分なも
のとはいえなかった。

の一方をディスク係止片とすると共に、他方を予じめ軸
方向に開放せしめたリムにディスクを嵌入し、該−万の
突縁部を折り曲げてディスクの左右両側面を挾持せしめ
るようにした車輪及びその製造方法に関するものである

済的にも有効であるばかりでなく、リベット又はボルト
が車輪の内周側面に露出することもないので、商品価値
の高い車輪を提供することができる。
