Abstract

PURPOSE:To dye wood veneer rose pink with excellent fastness to light, by treating an extract, obtd. by treating wood with an aq. alkaline soln., with a H2O2 soln., adding a brown dye contg. -NO2 group thereto, and dyeing wood veneer by using the resulting aq. soln. CONSTITUTION:Wood chip 1 is cooked in an aq. alkaline soln. 2 having a pH of 10-12 to elute alkali-soluble matters (the concn. of eluate being 1-2%) H2O2 is added to the resulting aq. alkaline soln. 2' contg. eluted alkali-soluble matters in such an amount as to give the concn. of H2O2 of 1-5%. Then an oxidation treatment is conducted at 60-90 deg.C. After H2O2 is completely consumed by this oxidation treatment, a brown dye contg. -NO2 group is added to the oxidation- treated soln. 2'. By the addition of the dye, the soln. 2'' blended with the dye turns red. A white wood veneer 3 is immersed in this soln. 2'' to dye the veneer rose pink. The dyed veneer has improved light resistance, little suffers fading and can retain clear color tone over a long period of time.

A plurality of wood veneers are laminated with adhesive, pressed and tightened to form a 7-rich flitch, and this flitch is sliced in a direction that intersects with the lamination direction to form each wood-quality wood board. The wood material veneer used in the method for manufacturing a decorative veneer for obtaining a finished decorative fist whose cut surface resembles an annual ring layer imparts a hue resembling that of natural wood to the reproduced wood grain pattern. It is customary to dye the material in a predetermined color before the lamination process.

In this way, the alkaline aqueous solution from which the alkali-soluble content of the wood tissue has been eluted is oxidized with a H,02 solution, and then the saponified solution ftc-No and a plaquen-based dye having a group are added to produce a red dye. The blended solution f was obtained, and this solution 21' was used as a dyeing solution to dye the wooden veneer 3 in pale pink, so that the following effects were obtained.

In other words, this treatment method improves the surface Kl of the spring material veneer.
Apply colored adhesive etc. to the material color and assemble 7 rich→
When expressing a summer wood layer with the cut surface made of the colored adhesive on the wood grain pattern reproduced on the wood surface of the laminated decorative veneer obtained through the slicing process, the summer wood colored adhesive is applied to the spring wood material single layer. If the shading is applied to the board 4 in a band-like manner as shown in FIG. 3, the shading distribution of the reproduced summer wood layer will become regular, resulting in the shading similar to that of the natural material 5 shown in FIG. 2. In order to avoid this, the colored adhesive 6 for the dark colored portion of the summer material is applied to the spring material veneer 4' as shown in Figure 4. Colored adhesive for dark colored areas of summer material6
This is a dispersion coating processing method that can easily perform random dispersion coating, and an example thereof is shown in the SS diagram.

The dispersion coating treatment method of ξ is such that a supply device 8 is arranged above the coating roll 7 to supply the colored adhesive 6 for the dark colored portion of the summer material in a flow manner, and as the coating roll 7 rotates, the supply device 8 is By moving the roll 7 in the width direction and passing the spring material veneer 4' through the application roll 7, the spring material veneer 4' is applied.
The colored adhesive 6 for the dark colored parts of the EIK summer material is randomly dispersed and applied. The surface of the spring material veneer 4' is uniformly coated with a colored adhesive for the light colored portion of the summer material before being passed through the application roll 7.
