Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus which is small in size, has not fear of generating the clogging of a gas passage and is easily fabricated, obtained by constituting the same so as to impinge an exhaust gas to a rotary disc having a cooling surface almost at right angles to make it possible to remove a molten substance or a precipitated substance accompanied by the gas in good efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A hollow rotary disc 16 is provided in a casing 12 lined with a refractory heat insulating material 13 and rotated by a drive apparatus 24 through a gear 25 and a hollow shaft part 19. In the shaft part 19, a center pipe 20 is provided to flow a cooling liquid into an inlet pipe 22 and discharge the same from an outlet pipe 23 to cool the rotary disc 16. An exhaust gas generaged in a waste material treating apparatus is introduced into the casing 12 from a inflow port 14 to be impinged onto the rotary disc 16 almost at right angles and a molten substance based on Al or carbon and other precipitated substances separated by re-decomposition of the gas accompanied by the gas are solidified and adhered on the disc 16 and the exhaust gas is exhausted from an outflow port 15 and adhered substances are scraped off by a scraper plate 26 to be discharged through a double lock type damper 28.

For example, it is known that the exhaust gas generated in waste treatment contains various substances along with dust, and these substances can be recovered for effective resource utilization. Carbon and other precipitated substances liberated by the re-decomposition of the gas cause various problems such as solidification and adhesion in the exhaust gas line and the internal materials of the recovery and treatment equipment.

The exhaust gas discharged from the melting furnace 1 contains dust accompanying the gas,
By making the flue 3 into a curved pipe 3, the char and the melted or precipitated substances are drawn toward the rotating body 4 by inertia, and at this time, the surface temperature of the rotating body is adjusted to the freezing point of the substance to be solidified or precipitated. It is possible to selectively adhere to the surface of the rotating body 4 by selecting the temperature below or below the precipitation point.

However, in such a structure, there are many parts where the side surface of the rotary body 4, which is the cooling surface, is not perpendicular to the flow of exhaust gas, and the adhesion is not sufficient and it adheres and accumulates near the seal plate 11, gradually forming a curved pipe. 3 becomes obstructed. Also,
Since the opening 1 in the cooling surface cannot have a very large convergence, it requires a large height, and the rotary body 4 has a large structure, and the mechanism for rotatably supporting it also has to be large. Furthermore, the outer diameter of the rotating body 4 requires dimensional accuracy in relation to its contact with the scraping plate 6, and the surface must be finished cleanly, making manufacturing difficult.

The present invention improves the above-mentioned points of the conventional method by applying exhaust gas at a right angle to a disk-shaped cooling surface that rotates once, and does not cause accumulation near the cooling surface, has a compact structure, and is easy to manufacture. The object of the present invention is to provide a device for easily removing melting or precipitated substances.

During operation, the exhaust gas flowing in from the inlet 14 hits the rotating disk 16 at almost right angles, and molten or precipitated substances mainly composed of aluminum solidify or precipitate and stick to the cooling surface of the disk. By selecting the surface temperature of the disc 1 to be below the freezing point or below the precipitation point of the substance to be solidified or precipitated, it is possible to selectively fix any substance to the surface of the rotating disc 1.
