Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from scattering outside a device by providing in an exhaust gas duct a spiral piece for raking and pushing out dust, in such a manner that the piece can rotate about an axis of the exhaust gas duct. SOLUTION: A substantially horizontal exhaust gas duct 21 is arranged between and connected to a substantially vertical exhaust gas duct 11 and an exhaust gas duct 12. A rotary axis 31 is inserted to an axial portion of the exhaust gas duct 21 along the axial direction, being supported at both end surfaces thereof. The rotary axis 31 is provided with a plurality of connecting members 51 with a given interval therebetween, and a band-shaped spiral piece 61 is attached to the tips of the individual connecting members 51. The spiral piece 61 forms a peripheral edge portion of a screw in a screw conveyer with a large space being allowed to exist inside thereof along the axial direction of the exhaust gas duct 21. The spiral piece 61 is rotated by a drive motor 41 through the rotary axis 31 and the connecting members 51.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing dust from an exhaust gas duct. When melting metal materials in a melting furnace or melting waste such as incineration residues in a melting furnace, an exhaust gas duct is connected to these furnaces in order to discharge exhaust gas generated in the furnace. In this exhaust gas duct, not only high-temperature exhaust gas flows, but also various dusts accompanying the exhaust gas are brought in and adhere to the inner wall surface. If the dust is left unattended, the dust accumulates and the surface is melted by the high-temperature exhaust gas and adheres to the inner wall surface of the exhaust gas duct. I do. Such adhesion, accumulation and sticking of dust to the exhaust gas duct, and furthermore, blockage of the exhaust gas duct are particularly problematic in so-called horizontal ducts extending in the horizontal direction as a whole due to their properties. It is necessary to remove dust adhering to the inner wall surface of the exhaust gas duct as needed. The present invention relates to an improvement in an apparatus for removing dust attached to an inner wall surface of an exhaust gas duct.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a dust removing device for an exhaust gas duct as described above, a rod is inserted into an exhaust gas duct in the axial direction thereof, a scraping plate is attached to the end of the rod, and the scraping plate is attached via the rod. A system in which the exhaust gas duct is advanced and retracted in the axial direction has been proposed (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. Hei 4-1).
03908). However, in this conventional apparatus, dust scatters from the penetrating portion of the rod to the outside of the apparatus, and it is necessary to advance and retreat a long rod corresponding to an exhaust gas duct for removing adhered dust. There is a disadvantage that an installation space is required, and only a part of the dust adhering to the inner wall surface of the exhaust gas duct can be removed, and the adhering dust cannot be removed all around the inner wall surface.

[0003] As another dust removing device, a rod is inserted into an exhaust gas duct at an axial portion thereof, a plurality of scraping plates are attached to the rod at predetermined intervals, and the scraping plate is moved through the rod in the axial direction of the exhaust gas duct. In addition, there has been proposed a device in which a scraping plate is rotated around a rod while moving forward and backward (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 6-257735). Although this conventional device has an advantage that dust adhering can be removed over the entire inner wall surface, dust still scatters from the penetrating portion of the rod to the outside of the device, and the scraping plate advances and retreats through the rod. There is the disadvantage that the required corresponding installation space is required.

[0004] As still another dust removing device, a plurality of rotating shafts are inserted into the exhaust gas duct at predetermined intervals in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction thereof, a scraping plate is attached to each rotating shaft, and the rotating shaft is connected to each other. There has been proposed one in which each scraping plate is rotated forward and reverse in the axial direction of the exhaust gas duct (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-19234). However, although this conventional device has the advantages of preventing dust from scattering outside the device and having a small installation space, it can remove only a part of the dust adhering to the inner wall surface of the exhaust gas duct, so that the entire circumference of the inner wall surface can be removed. In that the attached dust cannot be removed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The problems to be solved by the present invention are as follows. In the conventional dust removing device, the scattering of dust to the outside of the device is reduced, the installation space is reduced, and the adhesion over the entire inner wall surface of the exhaust gas duct. The point is that dust removal cannot be achieved at the same time.

As means for rotatably mounting the spiral piece around the axis of the exhaust gas duct, a cantilever rotating shaft is inserted into the axial portion of the exhaust gas duct from one end face in the axial direction, and a connecting member is connected to the cantilever rotating shaft. Means for attaching a spiral piece through, means for inserting a cantilever rotary shaft from both axial end faces to the axial portion of the exhaust gas duct, and mounting the spiral piece via a connecting member between the two cantilever rotary shafts,
There is a means for inserting a double-sided rotating shaft supported at both axial end surfaces thereof into an axial portion of an exhaust gas duct, and attaching a spiral piece to the double-sided rotating shaft via a connecting member.

In any case, it is preferable that the spiral piece be attached to the rotating shaft with a space as large as possible along the axial direction of the exhaust gas duct inside the area surrounded by the spiral piece. This is so as not to hinder the flow of the exhaust gas in the exhaust gas duct. Also the rotation axis,
It is preferable that the connecting member and the spiral piece have a hollow structure, and cooling water or cooling air is passed through the hollow portion.
This is to prevent such thermal deformation.

The spiral piece 61 extends over substantially the entire length of the exhaust gas duct 21 in the axial direction. When the spiral piece 61 is rotated by the drive motor 41 via the rotating shaft 31 and the connecting member 51, the spiral piece 61 It rotates close to the entire inner wall surface and pushes it to the downstream side while scraping off the attached dust on the inner wall surface. The dust moves sequentially downstream and falls into the exhaust gas duct 12.
