Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 超音波ビームの走査方向に多数の超音波変換素子を配列
    して探触子を構成するとともに、各素子を前記走査方向
    に直角な方向に分割し、送波時及び受波時に同時動作さ
    せる素子数を変更可能にし、且つ各素子において分割し
    た各部を選択的に動作させるようにして超音波ビーム送
    受波の実質的な放射面積を走査方向及び走査方向に直角
    な方向において変更できるようにしたことを特徴とする
    超音波診断装置。
