Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 発熱体を有するサーマルヘッドを記録紙に圧接させなが
    ら走査移動させて発色印字するサーマルプリンタにおい
    て、走査方向と平行に設けられたキャリッジ支持軸と、
    この支持軸を中心に回動自在であって、且つ軸方向に移
    動自在に支持されたキャリッジと、サーマルヘッドを一
    体的に担持したサーマルヘッドユニットの両側面（又は
    キャリ・　ツジ）に、走査方向と平行であって、且つ同
    一軸心上に設けられた一対のピボット軸と、上記キャリ
    ッジ（又はサーマルヘッドユニットの両側面）に設けら
    れていて、上記ピボット軸に嵌合して、サーマルへラド
    ユニットを記録紙に対して接離する向きに揺動自在に支
    承するピボット軸受と、上記キャリッジに対して、該キ
    ャリッジに支持されたサーマルヘッドユニットを記録紙
    に当接させる向きの揺動習性を与える付勢手段とを具備
    したことを特徴とするサーマルヘッド支持装置。
