が桶カバー14の開口部14a前縁に係合されて該散水
器15が該桶カバー14の開口部14aを閉塞すべく保
持される。この保持状態で、該散水器15の底部15a
は前記回転槽2内面との間に間隙を存して該回転槽2の
上端たるバランスリング6の上端6aより下方に位置さ
れる。19は散水器15に被着された水跳ね防止板であ
り、その中央部には開口部19aが形成され、又周縁部
には多数の通水孔20が形成されている。尚、21は外
箱1上端部に取着された上面板で、これには洗濯物出入
用の開口部22が形成されていると共に該開口部22を
開閉する蓋26が枢設されておシ、そして該瞥26には
透明板からなる透視部24が設けられている。父上起上
面板21の後方部には操作箱25が形成されており、こ
の操作箱25には運転制御装置26の他に給水弁27及
び給水桶28等から成る給水装置29が配設されていて

水器15上の水跳ね防止板19への給水源からの給水が

する。そしてこれに加え、散水器15は回転槽2の上端
開口部を覆う蓋の如く位置するものであるから、脱水或
いは脱水すすぎ中に蓋26を開けたときでも、慣性によ
り回転を続ける回転槽2に使用者が手を触れることを避
けさせ、以て該回転槽2に対する使用者の充分な保護を
図り得るものであり、更に給水時、供給した水・が洗濯
物に当之って跳ね返ることにより回転槽2外に出るとい
う様なことも上記散水器15によって阻止することがで
き、さらに、散水器15に水跳ね防止板19を設けてい
るので、散水器15内の水が脱水時の振動等により跳ね
出る様なことも防止できる。又桶カバー14に下方に向
うに従って径小となる水抜き孔部14bを形成している
ので、桶カバー14の上面における水抜き作用を良好に
促しつつ逆に下方からの水の飛び出しを確実に防止する
。又、洗濯物の出入れ時には、第5図に示す如く蓋23
の開放に続いて散水器15も開放で(9)
