Abstract

PURPOSE:To accommodate distributed terminals very finely and more efficiently in comparison with accommodating by a node station, by providing a low-speed loop besides a high-speed loop. CONSTITUTION:A node station NS0 is provided with not only a node station remote control part NSRC but also a low-speed loop transmission line L-LOOP and a remote station RS having the line concentrating function. The control part NSRC performs signal processings of terminals similarly to a node station control part NSC and has the function for communication between node stations NS. In the remote station, data is sampled in a speed corresponding to the terminal speed and is put onto a PCM channel by a remote station control part RSC. A part of the PCM channel is used as an out channel to transmit the signal of the terminal. Thus, the local area network system for communication between terminals which are distributed in respective places is constituted efficiently.

This type of local area network has two types of local area networks: a star type (conventional PBX is an example of this), in which a centrally located control unit centrally controls communications between scattered terminals, and a star type, in which a centrally located control unit centrally controls communications between scattered terminals (a conventional PBX is an example of this), and a distributed control unit that forms a loop. There are two types: the loop type, which controls communication at the terminal, and the two-inch type, which has a control device on the terminal side and simply connects it with a coaxial cable.

Furthermore, compared to the star-type individual wiring system, the loop-type local area network eliminates the need for individual wiring between terminals, resulting in total benefits such as reduced construction costs, simplified access routes, and easier maintenance and operation. It becomes possible to construct an economical system. Conventionally, this type of loop-type local area network has been configured as shown in FIG. In Figure 1, this system consists of a high-speed loop-shaped transmission line H that connects a node stage N8, which collects terminals T distributed throughout a wide area, and a node stage N8, using, for example, an original fiber cable. - Consists of LOOPs. FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing one embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 2, the same functional blocks as in FIG. 1 of the node stage m+7N8 and the operation of the high speed loop transmission line H-LOOP are the same as those shown in FIG. In Fig. 2, terminals near the node stage N8 are directly accommodated in the node stage N8, but if there is a distance to the extent that they can be entwined with the node stage N8, the distance from the terminal T is Stretch or expensive node stage
I will put 8. So the node stage NS.
In addition to installing a stage control unit N8RC, a remote stage R8 with low-speed loop transmission W, L-LOOP and line concentration functions is installed, and a terminal far from the node stage N8- is connected to the remote stage. By accommodating it in the Soun R8, it becomes possible to provide a comprehensively economical system.

That is, the signal transmitting/receiving circuit CD/CR is a bipolar 2 signal transmitting/receiving circuit, and is a general transmission line that also includes a clock extraction function and the like. In the remote stage R8, the terminal data via the line termination circuit LUT is sampled by the remote stage control unit SC at a rate corresponding to the terminal speed and is placed on the PCM channel. Terminal signals are transmitted using part of the PCM channel as an out channel.
