DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for repairing cracks in asphalt pavement. That i! The aim is to propose a repair method that has excellent moisture retention in the repaired area and load transmission to the road surface, and can prevent cracks from expanding over a long period of time.

Conventionally, concrete crossroads have been designed to have joints at predetermined intervals so that crack stress is concentrated at the joints, and damage such as cracks is difficult to occur, and damage such as cracks is difficult to occur. When cracks occur, most of the time the repair method using overlay is selected as described in Road Maintenance and Repair Guidelines 1-'A-4 (page 94). On the other hand, asphalt pavement has the disadvantage that cracks are more likely to occur than #1IFIL. After a crack occurs, water infiltrates from the 0 part and expands the crack, and further water infiltrates into the ground below, weakening the ground. In both cases, poor load transmission on one wheel further promotes the expansion of the crack. . Therefore, conventionally, if a crack occurs, filler is filled into the cracked area as soon as possible to prevent water from entering and to prevent the ground from weakening while the crack is expanding.

However, when the filling is directly filled into the cracked part, the inner surface of the crack becomes uneven, and the filling cannot be filled with writing on the cracked surface, making it impossible to impart sufficient watery properties, and the filling may be incompletely filled. As a result, when the asphalt pavement becomes soft during high temperatures such as in the summer, the filler tends to fall into the cracks, creating recesses above the filler and facilitating water infiltration.

This invention is an improvement on the above-mentioned conventional repair method, and its gist is that #1
One step to filling and repairing, cracked part 111 in advance
This is a crack repair method in which the 1R surface is enlarged into a roughly U-shaped groove to make it easier to fill with filler, and a continuous curved surface is provided from the lower end of the side wall of the groove to f5@.

According to this repair method, the opening is enlarged and the filler is filled into the groove, which has a U-shaped bottom and a continuous curved surface from the lower end of the side wall to the bottom, so that the filler adheres closely to the groove surface and interfaces with the groove. No voids are left in the cracks or corners, and the filler does not fall into the cracks and create recesses on the top surface. Therefore, water resistance is improved, and cracks do not expand or the underlying ground becomes soft.

Filling 7 was tightly packed on the inner surface of @S, leaving no voids, and was highly watertight, preventing water from penetrating, and preventing the expansion of cracks and weakening of the underlying ground. .

Note that the shape line width of the groove 5 and #l! If the width or depth is approximately the same, it is easy to fill the filling densely, and the stability after filling is excellent. The width or depth is usually 1O-i50.
■It's about. Watertightness can be further improved by applying an anchor coat to the inner surface of the groove to improve adhesion to the inner surface of the groove prior to filling. As the anchor coating agent, asphalt emulsion, cutback asphalt, etc. are suitable.
