Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit a superconductor wire to be wound without any slack, by a method wherein a superconductor wire is wound on a flat portion and then, while being pressed against the flat portion, the superconductor wire is wound on a curved surface portion succeeding the flat portion. CONSTITUTION:A superconductor wire 3 is wound on a flat portion F of a winding body 2a of a bobbin 2 and is then wound on a curved surface portion R succeeding the flat portion F. In this case, the superconductor wire 3 is wound on the curved surface portion R in such a way that a support rod 5 is inserted into a support hole 4 and a wedge 6 is forced into between the wire 3 wound on the flat portion F and the support rod 5 in the direction of an arrow B thereby to restrict the movement of the wire 3. After the wire 3 is thus wound around the winding body 2a of the bobbin 2, the wedge 6 previously forced into as well as located in the winding direction and the associated support rod 5 are removed, and the wire 3 is wound on the flat portion F of the winding body 2a from which the corresponding wedge 6 has been removed.
