Varicose veins are caused by the stagnation of circulating blood in the skin veins, causing enlargement and meandering of the blood vessels. To prevent such varicose veins on the human legs, alleviate symptoms such as pain, and treat them,
It is known that elastically tightening the legs from the outside is effective.

Conventionally, various medical supports have been provided for this purpose, but most of them are worn partially on a part of the leg, and have only a local effect and have no effect on other parts of the body. There are disadvantages such as buttons that inhibit smooth blood circulation in certain areas, and even if the entire leg is tightened, the toes and heel are exposed so as not to inhibit the movement of the foot. Unlike socks, they felt strange when worn, and due to their appearance, women in particular tended to avoid wearing them, even though they were more likely to develop varicose veins.

In view of the above-mentioned matters, the purpose of this invention was to create a sock that, when used, has exactly the same appearance as regular socks, is suitable for wearing when going out, and does not cause painful sensations, especially on the toes and other areas. It is suitable for continuous wear for long periods of time, and has no drawbacks such as causing irritation or hindering walking or other foot movements, and is breathable.
The purpose of the present invention is to provide elastic socks for medical use that have good moisture absorption, feel good on the skin, have excellent washing resistance, and have excellent durability without losing their initial elasticity over a long period of time.

As shown in the embodiment shown in the drawings, the elastic socks of this invention have a toe section 1 formed in a length extending from the tip of the foot to the midfoot, and a length extending from the middle of the midfoot to the foot plate. A midfoot part 2 of a predetermined width that covers the sole of the foot, the so-called arch part, the dorsum of the foot, a heel part 3 that covers the lower surface of the heel, the rear button, and both sides, and the midfoot part 2.
A leg tube portion 4 having a length that extends from the ankle to the upper end of the lower leg or upper thigh extending from the heel portion 3, and a mouth rubber portion 5 of a predetermined width that continues to the upper end of the leg tube portion 4. The midfoot portion 2 and the leg tube portion 4 are made of polyurethane elastic fiber a.
It is knitted with a core spun yarn made by winding and entwining a cotton roving thread around the core, and has a particularly strong elastic tightening force in the circumferential direction. The heel portion 3 is made of one or more highly elastic yarns such as core spun yarns or whirly nylon yarns similar to those described above, and is made of substantially less material than the leg tube portion 5 and the midfoot portion 2. It is characterized by being knitted into large loops using relatively thick silk threads and being relatively loose.

The arrangement of the buttons on the elastic sock of this invention is such that the toe part 1 has a length that reaches from the toe to the middle part of the metatarsal bone behind the toe, which is more noticeable than the toe part of ordinary socks. It is unique in that it is long.

The reason for choosing this length for the toe part 1 is that as a result of repeated trial production, we found that if a highly elastic part similar to the leg tube part 4 were extended to the toe part, the toe part would become loose after long periods of wear. This is because it has been found that the strong pressure on the base of the toes causes a painful sensation, which hinders movement such as walking.

It is better to knit the middle leg 2 buttons and the leg tube part 4 of the same structure that is continuous with them by knitting two or more thin core spun yarns, rather than knitting them with one thick core spun yarn. It is desirable in terms of appropriate elasticity, smoothness of the finished surface, and therefore less wrinkles on the skin when worn.

For example, if two core spun yarns A, which are made by winding and intertwining a 40-count cotton roving around a 76-denier polyurethane elastic fiber A, are knitted together as shown in FIG. 3, favorable results can be obtained.

The length of the leg tube part 4 may be knee-length, with the upper end reaching the upper end of the lower leg, or may be over-the-knee type, with the upper end reaching the upper part of the thigh.

In either case, it is desirable to change the so-called thickness of the knitted fabric from the thin ankle to the thick lower leg and further to the upper thigh, and change the size of the loops of the knitted tissue gradually or stepwise. Therefore, it is desirable that each part of the leg tube part 4 has a suitable elastic tightening force corresponding to the circumference of the human leg part.

The toe part 1 button and the heel part 3 are connected to the middle foot part 2 button and the leg tube part 4.
It is necessary to knit the knitting in a more noticeably relaxed state, that is, in a state in which the tightening force against the foot is relatively weak, but in order to provide a good wearing feeling, both parts 1 and 3 should also have a loose elastic stretching force. It is better to have

In response to these demands, the toe part 1 button and the heel part 3 use one or more kinds of highly elastic yarns such as the core spun yarn I or woolly nylon yarn for part or all of the knitting yarn, Moreover, it is necessary to make the size of the knitting loop larger than that of the leg tube part 4 button and the middle leg part 2 by increasing the degree of drawing of the knitting yarn from the upper end of the needle bed of the knitting needles during knitting.

Therefore, as a suitable example of the knitting yarn, as shown in FIG. The front yarn is used as the front yarn, and the latter is used as the back yarn. Alternatively, two core spun yarns made of 133-denier polyurethane elastic yarn and 20-count cotton roving as the sheath are used. It's good.

The opening elastic part 5 is knitted with a rubber knitting structure by inserting stretchable threads such as polyurethane elastic threads in the course direction, as in conventional ordinary socks, and is preferably made of a rubber knitted structure with stretchable threads such as polyurethane elastic threads inserted in the course direction. It is best to knit using the same knitting yarn as in 3, but with a slightly thicker stitch.

(11) Strong tightening force is applied to the sole of the foot and the midfoot 2 that wraps around the dorsum of the foot, which effectively prevents swelling of the skin veins on the dorsum of the foot where skin veins tend to protrude due to congestion. In addition to its functionality, it strongly compresses the arch of the foot, making the foot lighter and helping to reduce fatigue.

QV), since the toe section 1 extends from the toe to the front and back of the toe and the midfoot, and has a relatively weak tightening force, it may cause excessive pressure on the toe and cause pain. Or,
It does not impede the freedom of movement of the toes and does not cause discomfort even when worn for a long time, and the heel portion 3 is also formed in a relatively relaxed state. As a result, foot movements such as walking are not hindered, and you can run or walk with the same feeling as wearing regular socks.

Core spun yarn with a core of polyurethane elastic fibers is used to provide elasticity to the M1 midfoot section 2 and leg tube section 4, so the properties of the polyurethane elastic fibers themselves provide very soft elasticity. In addition to being able to give the most suitable pressure to the skin, it also has high strength and excellent aging resistance and chemical resistance, so it does not lose its initial elasticity over a long period of time. It maintains its tightening effect for a long time and has excellent durability.

In addition, the above-mentioned core spun yarn uses a core with cotton roving wound around it, so due to the excellent hygroscopicity and breathability of cotton, it does not get stuffy even when worn for a long time, and it feels soft on the skin. It is in good condition and feels comfortable to wear.
