Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a welded joint which is excellent in mechanical characteristics and has high quality and high reliability, by inserting a nickel alloy between a copper alloy and stainless steel, and welding them by use of electronic beam welding, etc. CONSTITUTION:Between a copper alloy 1 and stainless steel 2, a nickel alloy 3 which is apt to fit with both the copper alloy and the stainless steel is inserted, and electronic beam welding is executed. The reason why the electronic beam welding is adopted is because heat is concentrated well by utilizing energy of an electron, and a bead of narrow width and deep penetration is obtained, and it is suitable for simultaneously melting and joining such materials whose physical characteristics are remarkably different as said copper alloy and stainless steel. Also, the nickel alloy is 0.1-0.5mm. wide.

However, when joining by brazing, strict construction is required! This process must be carried out under conditions such as maintenance, inspection of joints, and construction by skilled workers, and when joints are required to be watertight, oiltight, etc., problems such as leaks are likely to occur. In addition, the number of defects caused by inspection of individual joints was high, resulting in poor yields and problems in terms of workability, quality, and cost.

Furthermore, when a steel alloy and stainless steel are simply welded together, the welded part has poor mechanical properties and forms a complex compound of copper and stainless steel, which is likely to cause defects such as weld cracks.

In order to address the above-mentioned problems, there has been a desire for a joining method that provides stable quality with high ms+ properties, excellent mechanical properties, and is advantageous in terms of cost and workability.

In view of the above circumstances, it is an object of the present invention to provide a copper alloy that has a joint portion that is sound and has excellent mechanical properties, and that is easy to work to obtain such a joint and that provides stable quality. and to provide a stainless steel welding method.

The present invention provides a method for welding copper alloy and stainless steel.
It is characterized by a welded structure in which nickel or nickel alloy (hereinafter referred to as "nickel alloy") is inserted between copper alloy and stainless steel.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. Nickel alloy 3 between copper alloy 1 and stainless steel 2
The joint is obtained by inserting and welding. In this case, electron beam welding is used as the lll1[1 method. Electron beam? When carrying out # welding, the thickness of nickel or nickel alloy is αl-
0,51111 is excessive. If the nickel is too thin, the effect of nickel will not appear in bonding, and if it is too thick, the amount of heat will be wasted to melt the nickel, which is undesirable.

In this way, by inserting a nickel alloy that is compatible with both copper alloy and stainless steel and subjecting it to electron beam 1IJI, an sm* hand with excellent mechanical properties and high reliability can be obtained. Electron beam 11! ! The reason why we chose HAI is that it has a 4I mold that utilizes electron energy to achieve good heat concentration and narrow all-inset beads, and it can simultaneously handle materials with very different physical properties such as copper alloy and stainless steel. It is also possible to apply laser welding, diffusion welding, etc. instead of electrostatic electron beam welding.

Next, another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. As shown in Fig. 2, there is a method of welding while feeding a nickel wire 4 with a feeding device 5.Furthermore, Fig. 3 shows a method of overlaying the bending circle with nickel wire, etc., and then welding the bevel. This is a method of welding the processed surface 6.

As described above, according to the bath welding method for copper alloy and stainless steel of the present invention, a nickel alloy is inserted between the copper alloy and stainless steel, and the welding is performed using electron beam welding or the like, so appropriate welding conditions can be selected. For example, it is possible to obtain a high-quality, highly reliable welded joint between copper alloy and stainless steel with excellent mechanical properties, which has been difficult to obtain in the past.
