Abstract

PURPOSE:To take out a paper without waiting time while preventing the fatigue of a photosensitive drum by driving only a thermal fixing device and a paper delivery roller when a printed paper is discharged in the discharge of papers from a nonimpact printer. CONSTITUTION:Latent images formed on a photosensitive drum 1 are all transferred onto a paper 5 and then, as soon as the paper stops immediately after the rear end position of the final paper passes a transfer means 6, a switching signal C is outputted by an operator or with an upper device to change over the operation from printing to discharging.
