Abstract

PURPOSE:To make recording over the entire part of a recording body except the seam part possible and to prevent the appearance of the seam part on recording paper by performing printing after detecting the seam part of a dielectric belt and stopping the seam part in the position of a developing machine while the belt is held stopped. CONSTITUTION:A recording electrode 1 is provided on an inner side of an insulating recording body (dielectric belt) 3 and a cylindrical sleeve 4 having a counter electrode 7 by facing the same is disposed. After the seam part of the dielectric belt is detected with a detector 15, a developing machine 6 is started and recording paper 11 is detected with a paper detecting sensor 16; thereafter, printing is started. In the stage of stopping, the seam part is detected with a detecting sensor 17 for seam part and the seam part is stopped in the position of the machine 6. Since the seam part is excluded from the recording area by the above-mentioned method, the recording over the entire surface of the recording body except the seam part is made possible and the appearance of the seam part as a transverse line on the recording paper is obviated.

(g)) Background of the technology A book is known in which a toner image formed on the surface of a recording medium is transferred to recording paper as a recording cover for image screaming. There is a known device that performs printing by adsorbing toner after forming a small amount of charge in accordance with a pattern such as an image. recording electrode IFi,
This is a multi-stylus electrode in which multiple groups of electrode needles 2 are arranged in a row. An insulating recording body 3 made of a dielectric film is brought into contact with this recording electrode. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, a magnetic toner developing device 6 having a rotating magnetic roller 5 inside a fixed cylindrical sleeve 4 is installed at a position facing the recording electrode 1 with an insulating recording medium 3 interposed therebetween. Further, on the cylindrical sleeve 4, a counter electrode 7 divided into a plurality of segments is arranged in close contact with each other. The recording means transfers magnetic toner to the outer periphery of the cylindrical sleeve 4, applies a voltage to the recording electrode needle 2 in accordance with the image signal, and applies a voltage to the counter electrode 7 with a polarity opposite to the voltage applied to the recording electrode needle 2. This is a method of selectively adding K to charge the magnetic toner carried onto the selected segment, thereby adhering the magnetic toner to the insulating recording medium 3 and forming a toner image. The figure shows the configuration of the recording device, so the recording process will be explained using this figure.Insulating recording body A 3Fi dielectric film is formed into a belt and rotated at a constant speed by cylinders 8 and 9.10. The tip of the recording electrode 1 is placed in contact with the inside of the belt-shaped insulating recording medium 3. Also, a magnetic toner developing device 6 having the aforementioned counter electrode 7 on the surface of the cylindrical sleeve 4 is placed opposite the recording electrode 1. Installation 0 Place the insulating recording medium 3 on top of the insulating recording medium 3 using the means explained in FIG.
The toner image is transferred from the back side to the recording paper 11 using the transfer corotron 12.
The upper transferred image is fixed to the recording paper 11 by the pressure foot base 13. On the other hand, the insulating recording body 3 is further rotated, and the corona charge is removed by the corona static eliminator 14 at the portion of the cylinder 8, thereby erasing the charge of the nine magnetic toner remaining on the insulating recording body 3, and insulating it. Weaken the adhesive force to the sex record body 3. When the insulating recording medium 3 is further rotated and conveyed to the printing section, the remaining magnetic toner is collected by the magnetic force of the miss roller 5 of the magnetic toner developing device 6. By repeating the recording process of 0 or more, it is continuously printed on the recording paper. Image output can be obtained.

This recording device can perform the latent image formation process using the recording electrode and the development process using the developing machine at the same time, so the packaging structure is open book, small size, low cost, and uses magnetic toner. Since the used toner can be collected and reused in the developing machine without cleaning, maintenance is easy and the cost of consumables is low. By the way, conventional recording devices use dielectric belts with a diameter of 16 μm to 25 μm. However, to make a belt with wide seams using such a thin dielectric belt, the manufacturing cost itself becomes high. Therefore, in practice, a dielectric belt is used, which is made by joining both ends of a sheet-like dielectric film.On the other hand, since the thickness of the recording medium is thick at this seam part, there is no discharge at the recording setting voltage. There is a problem in that this does not occur and recording is not performed.

(9) When the mounting is stopped, toner adheres to the dielectric belt located in the developing section. When this part is restarted, the scraping effect by the magnetic brush of the developing machine is insufficient, so horizontal streaks appear on the first recording sheet.

■ Purpose of the Invention The purpose of the present invention is to provide an insulating recording medium (
! l Detects the seam part of the dielectric belt, removes printing at the seam part, removes dirt caused by magnetic toner adhering to the recording material that occurs when the device is stopped, and controls the device that does not appear on the recording paper. (G) Structure of the Invention According to the present invention, this object is to provide a recording method that can perform good printing by using a recording electrode in which a plurality of electrodes are arranged, and an insulating A developing section is provided at a position opposite to the recording electrode, sandwiching the recording medium, and by selectively applying a voltage between the recording electrode and the opposing electrode, the toner supplied from the developing section is The toner image is applied to the insulating recording material and electrostatically transferred to the recording paper by an electric field, while the toner charge and back charge remaining on the insulating recording material are erased by a static eliminating corotron, and the toner image is developed. In the recording method capable of a cleaning-less process in which the insulating recording medium is collected again in a part, the seam part of the insulating recording medium is detected by a sensor, and printing at the seam part is removed based on the detection signal. This is achieved by providing a recording method that

■ Embodiments of the Invention Preferred embodiments of the invention will now be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Initial state will be explained with reference to the configuration diagram of the recording device shown in FIG. Then, the dielectric belt 3 is moved so that the seam part of the dielectric belt 3 is located in the developing part, and the seam part is detected by the detector 15. Based on this detection signal, the developing machine 6 is started and the seam part is located in the recording part. Continuous supply of magnetic toner is carried out, and paper feeding is started.Next, after the paper detection sensor 16 confirms that the recording paper 11 has been fed out, printing is started. At the cylinder 9, a transfer corotron 12 electrostatically transfers the toner image on the dielectric belt onto the recording paper, and a pressure fixing device 13 fixes the toner image onto the recording paper.

Furthermore, in the cylinder 8 part, the charge of toner remaining on the dielectric belt is erased by the static eliminator Corotro/14, and the residual toner is collected again by the output of the magnetic roller of the developing machine.Meanwhile, the number of recorded sheets is detected. When the set number of sheets is reached, the seam detection sensor 17 detects the seam and stops the series of operations. The positions of each sensor shown in Figure 2 are limited to the positions shown in the figure. Although the recording process has been explained above, the present invention has a device sequence in which recording is performed after first detecting the seam portion, and the device stops at the developing section at the final seam portion. , stains caused by magnetic toner adhering to the dielectric belt that occur when power production is stopped, and seams of the dielectric belt do not appear on the recording paper.Furthermore, recording is possible over the entire surface of the recording medium except for the seam area. As described in detail, according to the present invention, it is possible to miniaturize the device or improve the function of the device until it becomes possible.
At the seam part of the electric belt), recording '75E is dangerous at the recording setting voltage, so this seam part is removed from the recording area, and after printing is completed, the belt is stopped so that this seam part is located in the developing section. As a result, it is possible to record the entire surface of the recording medium excluding the seam portion, which has the effect of contributing to improving the functionality of the fruiting device and downsizing the device.
