Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize the pressure in a duct, and stabilize injection of fuel in such a way that a throttle valve which has throttling function only from the nozzle side to the pump side is provided on the way to a duct to connect the fuel injection pump and the injection nozzle to each other. CONSTITUTION:Fuel which is injected from a fuel injection pump 1 is fed through a duct 2 to an injection nozzle 3 of each cylinder. A throttle valve 4 is installed on the side of a pump 1 on this duct 2. A throttle 4c which is energized to the side of the pump 1 by a spring 4b is installed in the valve body 4a of the throttle valve 4, and only the pressure which is returned from the side of the nozzle 3 to the side of the pump 1 is throttled. On the other hand, the fuel which has been fed through the duct 2 to the nozzle 3 is led through the head part of a needle 7 and a check valve 5 to a pressure accumulating chamber 3a. Thus, since a proper pressure is held in the duct 2, and then the pressure in the duct is stabilized in the next injection time, cycle fluctuation in the pressure can be reduced.

The fuel injection device conventionally used in diesel engines etc. discharges the fuel from the fuel injection pump star and sends the fuel to the pipe b[
When the pressure in the pressure accumulation chamber d inside the nozzle C overcomes the spring tK that biases the needle and the needle e rises, fuel is injected into the cylinder from the injection hole g at the tip of the nozzle C. The method is adopted. However, in this method, since the pump 1 and the nozzle C are connected by a high-pressure pipe, there is a problem that oil fluctuates in the pipe, making it impossible to stably feed oil into the pressure storage chamber d with little cycle fluctuation.

This invention has been made for the purpose of improving this problem, and includes providing a throttle valve having a throttle function only from the nozzle side to the pump side in the middle of the above-mentioned pipe line to stabilize the pressure in the pipe line and to control the fuel injection of the engine. This book provides a device that enables stable injection of fuel.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawing shown in FIG. 2. In the figure, 1 is a fuel injection pump, and the fuel injected from the pump 1 is delivered to each cylinder of the engine (not shown) through a pipe 2. The water is supplied to an injection nozzle 3 provided in the. A softening valve 4 is provided on the pump 1 side of the pipeline 2. The throttle valve 4 is provided with a throttle 4C inside the valve body 4a, which is biased toward the pump 1@ by a spring 4b, and only the pressure that returns from the nozzle 3 side to the pump 1 side is through this throttle 40. It is being narrowed down.

The high-pressure fuel discharged from the pump 1 pushes open the throttle 4C of the throttle valve 4 and reaches the check valve 5 through the pipe 2.
It flows into the pressure accumulation chamber 3 of the nozzle 3.

When the pump 1 completes the pumping process, a negative pressure wave is generated in the pipe 2.
It propagates to the nozzle 3 side through the
is seated and the return pressure from the nozzle 3 side is throttled down to 114cK. A proper pressure is maintained in the pipe line 2 through this K, and this pressure acts to stabilize the pressure inside the pipe at the next injection timing.

On the other hand, the negative pressure wave reaching the nozzle 3 closes the check valve 5 and also releases the pressure on the needle 7.
is increased by the pressure in the pressure accumulation chamber 3a to open the injection hole 3b, and the fuel in the pressure accumulation chamber 3a is injected into the cylinder from the injection hole 6.

When the pressure in the pressure storage chamber 3a decreases due to fuel injection, the needle 7 is lowered by the spring 6, the injection hole 3b is closed, and the injection process is completed. The throttle ratio of the throttle valve 4 is preferably in the range of throttle area/pipe cross-sectional area - 0, 1 to α3, and a plurality of throttle valves 4 may be provided in the pipe line 2.

As described in detail above, this invention stabilizes the pressure in the pipeline by providing a throttle valve that has a restricting function only on the pressure returning from the nozzle side to the pump side in the pipeline connecting the injection pump and the nozzle. Therefore, the cycle fluctuations in the pressure within the nozzle pressure storage chamber are much smaller than in the conventional system, which makes it possible to achieve stable injection of fuel and an associated improvement in combustion efficiency.
