装置であるから、スクリュウコンベアS内を沈澱物など
の固液混合物を通過せしめると、フィルタ壁7ならびに
フィルタ室8および回転軸5を介して液体が真空ポンプ
17の真空作用により分離されることになるため、固液
分離装置の水切りが極めて良好になるなど、実用上の効
果大なるものがある。
