る廃m物用補助容器とから成る、種々の放射線強度の放
射性廃棄物、特に原、予力発電所の廃棄物を眞終貯蔵す
る装置において、最終貯蔵容器2が、遮蔽作用に関して
次のように構成されており、すなわち補助容器1に最も
弱い放射線強度の廃棄物Aを装入した時、補助容器1が
最終貯蔵容器2の収容空間3を完全に満たすようになっ
ており、また廃棄物Aの放射線強度がそれより強い場合
、この廃棄物を充填した補助容器1は、最終貯蔵容器2
の構造をそのままで、強い放射線強度に相応する小さな
寸法を有し、それにより最終貯蔵容器2が、付加的にこ
の容器と補助容器1の間の空間内に挿入された遮蔽材4
といっしょになって、この一層強い放射線強度にとって
十分な遮蔽作用を有することを特徴とする、放射性廃棄
