Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at enjoying sharpness in a segment type together with toughness existing in a continuous type, by constituting its structure in setting numerous grooves at both sides of a cutting part, particularly in case of the sintered cutting part of a diamond saw. CONSTITUTION:A continuous type circular saw is composed of a steel circular plate 1 and a sintered cutting part 2. Likewise, the sintered cutting part 2 is made up of a sintered body consisting of a mixture of diamond abrasive grains and bonding metal powder. In addition, the cutting part 2 is provided with plural number of a groove 3 and each of these grooves 3 has an opening part in a peripheral part 4 at both sides, obverse and reverse. Further, at the peripheral part of the circular steel plate 1, a thin part is made up and, sandwiching this thin part from both sides, the cutting part 2 is simultaneously sintered. Furthermore, the groove 3 is so made up that it is arranged in a phase shift of its setup position at both sides, obverse and reverse. With this constitution, the sintered cutting part of this diamond saw not only enjoys sharpness in a segment type but holds toughness of a continuous type.

The present invention provides a diamond saw in which a sintered blade made of diamond abrasive grains and bonding metal powder is fixed to a steel plate. According to the present invention, a diamond saw for cutting hard materials is provided with grooves and the positions of the grooves are shifted from each other in phase between the front and back sides. By increasing the cutting speed and improving the strength of the abrasive layer, it prevents the abrasive layer from peeling off and breaking.
Safety during use is improved, and the amount of abrasive layer used can be reduced, reducing costs and extending the life of the saw.

As mentioned above, FIGS. 1 and 2 show an example of a continuous type 1 circular saw, where 1 is a steel disc and 2 is a sintered blade. The sintered blade portion 2 is made of a sintered body b of a mixture of diamond abrasive grains and bonding metal powder. 3
are a plurality of grooves provided in the sintered blade, and the grooves 3 have openings at edges 4 on both the front and back sides of the sintered blade, as shown in the figure. A thin wall portion 6 is provided at the outer peripheral edge of the circular steel plate 1, and the sintering blade portion 2 is simultaneously sintered by sandwiching the thin wall portion 6 from both sides. The grooves 3 are arranged at shifted positions on both the front and back sides as shown in FIG. 2. The corners of the groove act as cutting edges, and since there are many of them, the cutting performance is improved and the cutting speed is increased. Furthermore, the discharge of chips is improved,
Since the heat dissipation capacity is also large, there is an effect that clogging does not occur.

As shown in FIG. 3, the thin wall portion preferably has a plurality of through holes 7, and the shape and size of the through holes are arbitrary, and are suitable for fixing the sintered blade portion. The sintered blades on both the front and back sides are integrated and simultaneously sintered, which helps increase strength.

FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the thin wall portion, showing a structure in which a part of the thin wall portion 6 is replaced with a wire mesh 8, so that the integration of the sintered blade portion 2 is further enhanced. In Fig. 1, numeral 5 indicates a radial corrugated portion provided on the circular steel plate. By providing this corrugated portion, the strength of the circular steel plate is increased, and therefore, the cost can be reduced by using a thinner steel plate than conventional products. becomes possible. Note that the strength of the disk can be further strengthened by arranging the radial waveform in a radial direction that does not include the center of the disk.

The arrangement positions of the large number of grooves 3 are shifted from each other in phase on both the front and back sides, similar to the examples shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. In the case of this example, a thin wall portion is not provided on the outer peripheral edge of the circular steel plate 1, and the fan-shaped segment is directly fixed to the outer peripheral portion 9 of the steel plate by brazing as in the conventional product, but the center of the fan-shaped segment is It is preferable to arrange a reinforcing perforated thin plate or wire mesh 11 as shown in FIG. The same is true.
