Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate to connect a draft pipe with a draft funnel by a method wherein the circumferential edge of a draw-off port is pinched by a holding-up plate and a pressing member, both of which are provided on the draft funnel, in the ventilating fan, the draw-off port of an outer box containing a blowing apparatus therewithin and the draft pipe of which are connected with the draft funnel. CONSTITUTION:The tapered cylindrical part of a draft funnel 12 is inserted in the draw- off port 11 of an outer box 4 so as to protrude therefrom. Furthermore, the peripheral part of the draw-off port 11 is pinchingly fixed between the holding-up plate 15 provided onto the outer periphery of the draft funnel 12 and the plate spring 14 mounted on the flange 13 of the draft funnel 12. In order to couple a draft pipe 16 to the draft funnel 12, once the plate spring 14 and the holding-up plate 15 are made looser so as to be able to adapt to any vertical and horizontal deviation between the draft funnel 12 and the draft pipe 16 and then to shift and adjust the draft funnel 12 toward a side plate part 4a all directionally for positioning and finally to fix to the side plate part 4a. は連結作業の容易化につき一層の効果を得ることができ
