Claims

An annular airtight container filled with liquid is installed between an exhaust pipe of the engine and a cooling water passage, and an exhaust side heat exchange section consisting of a part of the airtight container and the exhaust pipe is a part of the airtight container. A valve located below a cooling water side heat exchange section consisting of a cooling water passage, and further located at a predetermined location of the sealed container extending from the cooling water side heat exchange section to an exhaust side heat exchange section, and opened and closed depending on the engine cooling water temperature. In the rapid heating system for an automobile, the exhaust gas during heating of the engine is bypassed at a required part of the exhaust pipe to perform heat exchange in the exhaust side heat exchange section, and after the engine is warmed up, the exhaust gas is A rapid heating device for an automobile, characterized in that it is equipped with a bypass valve assembly equipped with an on-off valve that allows exhaust to flow straight through a pipe.
