Abstract

PURPOSE:To adjust the registration of copying paper without using any electromagnetic clutch, by simple constitution where a cpying-material front-end receiving member which can enter into and exit from a part near a contact line between a couple of copying-material relaying carriage rollers is provided. CONSTITUTION:A couple of copying-material relaying carriage rollers 40 provided at a halfway point in a copying-material carriage path extending from a paper feed part 22 to a picture transfer part 14 are rotated continuously while a drum 8 is rotated. Since a register plate 41 is normally entered to the roller couple 40, a copying material is inhibited by the register plate 41 from moving forth, but when a changeover lever 47 is switched over to a clockwise attitude as an original scanning optical system moves forth, the register plate 41 turns to right around a shaft 42 to exit from the roller couple 40, so that a copying material having been inhibited from moving forth is fed to a transfer part 14.
