Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the crushing efficiency and prevent the formation of powder, by means of plural protrusions provided along the long direction of the inner surface of a drum-like body.
CONSTITUTION: Flakes 10 of a dried bonito 10 fed from an introductory port 2 at the top of a drum-like body 1 are cut by crushing blades 7 of a rotating body while being somewhat compressed at near protrusions 4 provided around the inner surface of the drum-like body 1. The flakes 10 spattered on the inside of the drum-like body 1 are further cut and crushed by the crushing blades 7. Flakes (10a) crushed into fine fragments are discharged from a taking outlet 3 at the bottom to the outside; however, flakes which are not crushed into fine fragments are caught by protruded blades 5 in the form of the teeth of a comb and further crushed while being cut or spattered. Parts of insufficiently crushed size in the crushed flakes (10a) discharged from the discharging port 3 of the drum- like body 1 are removed by a vibrating screen 8, etc. and then sent to a bagging step.
