Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the temperature detecting element to be used in a temperature control function and in a overheat preventing function, by providing ferromagnetic holding plate in the vicinity of the other surface of a ferromagnetic substrate, and providing an electric contact which is opened and closed in response to the change in the mechanical position of said holding plate. CONSTITUTION:In the case the heater of an electric oven is heated to keep the temperature in the oven at a specified temperature, an electronic circuit 7 detects the temerature in the oven by an electric signal from a thin film thermistor element through a lead wire 4 and supplies the power corresponding to the difference between a specified temperature and said temperature to a heater load 10 through a lead wire 9. At the temperature lower than the Curie point Tc of two Curie points of the ferromagnetic substrate 1 and the ferromagnetic holding plate 5, they magnetically attract or repell to each other since both are ferromagnetic bodies. Meanwhile, at the tmeperature higher than Tc, there is no magnetic action between them. Therefore, by utilizing the presence or absence of the magnetic action based on whether the temperature is higher or lower than Tc, the mechanical position of the ferromagnetic holding plate 5 can be changed.
