Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain pressure sensitive copying paper which gives distinct, strongly light-resisting and remarkably preservative recordings by a method wherein transferring ink made up mainly of specific microcapsules, colored oil soluble dye and whitening agent is coated on the back of a supporting matter. CONSTITUTION:A small quantity of fine powder (preferably, 80mum or less) of colored oil soluble dye (e.g., monoazo or diazo colored dye) and whitening agent (preferably, white pigment, cellulose, wax, metallic soap) are mixed, moreover, microcapsules containing organic liquid (examples: benzene, toluene, etc.) are mixed to prepare transferring ink. The back side of a supporting matter like paper, various kinds of nonwoven fabric, etc. is coated for example by a coating rod with the ink to obtain the desired pressure sensitive copying paper.
