Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the breakdown of an output controlling transistor (TR) as an output control element of a welding machine by connecting a capacitor in parallel with a limiting resistance suppressing the base current to said output controlling TR.
CONSTITUTION: When welding is started, an on command is outputted from an output control circuit 7, and a driving transistor (TR)6 switches on. As a result, the base current flows through a capacitor 21 as well only at the moment of the switching on of the TR6 at the same instant when the base current flows from a DC electric power source 4 for driving to the base of an output controlling transistor 2 through a limiting resistance 5. As a result, the TR2 is sufficiently satd. and assumes a switched on state, thereby assuming the state of deriving an output through a main DC power source 1, the TR2 and a DC reactor 3. During welding, the TR2 repeats on and off, but the TR2 is held satd. with the capacitor 21 at all times while it is on, and this makes it possible to prevent its breakdown.
