Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the saturating voltage thus to improve the availability of power source by constituting the element placed between the power source and the DC motor with one transistor and one thyristor.
CONSTITUTION: When supplying a current to the base of transistor 18 and the gate of thyristor 21, current flows through DC motor from P1 to P2 to rotate it forwardly. Consequently the capacitor 15 is changed through resistor 14. When interrupting the base current of transistor 18, the base current 15 of transistor 12 decreases gradually as the discharging of the capacitor 15, and at some time point the transistor 12 turns off to interrupt the operational current of DC motor 24. At the same time reverse voltage is applied between the anode and cathod of thyristor 21 by means of resistors 22, 23 while utilizing the induction voltage of DC motor 24.
