Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a polypeptide having activities capable of lowering serum calcium and phosphorus in high purity and in high yield, by reacting a novel peptide with a specific peptide in the presence of a trypsin or a protease like the trypsin.

Since it is an enzyme reaction, it is not accompanied by side reactions and racemization, to give the desired substance simply in high yield.
