Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent dieseling by actuating ignition, at an angle of specified range before a top dead point after an ignition switch has been put off so as to stop the engine. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch 3 is on, outputs of both an NAND circuit 16 and an AND circuit 15 become zero, therefore, an ignition power transistor is controlled by an ignition signal generating circuit 5. When the ignition switch 3 is put off, the ignition signal generating circuit 5 is cut off by a switch 10, but since output of the NAND circuit 16 becomes ''1'', pulse which is fixed by a counter 13 is added on a single multiplier 17. Therefore, the ignition power transistor is driven by a dieseling prevention circuit 4. Since a pluse ''I'' is generated at 60-120 degree before the top dead point and a piston is given an impetus in the opposite direction of revolution, an engine stops its revolution. By this, dieseling can be prevented.
