Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance accuracy and stability by providing an intermittent driving mechanism between an output shaft and an end stopper shaft, and stopping the rotating of the output shaft by contacting an end stopper cam of the output shaft with a stopper of the end stopper shaft. CONSTITUTION:The end stopper cam 15 is fixed to the output shaft 1 of a tap changer manipulating machine. An end stopper holding plate 19, to which an upper limit stopper 17 and a lower limit stopper 18 are attached, is fixed to the end stopper shaft 2, with a specified relationship being provided with respect to the end stopper shaft 2 corresponding to the specified number of taps. The end stopper shaft 2 is intermittently rotated by the rotation of the output shaft 1 by an angle corresponding to one tap, aided by a Geneva drive 10 and a Geneva gear 11. When the output shaft 1 is rotated to an extreme stopping position which forms a specified angle with a reference stopping position OA corresponding to the upper and lower limits of the taps, the end stopper cam 15 is contacted with the upper and lower limit stoppers 17 and 18.
