Abstract

CONSTITUTION: To discharge a powdery or granular material, a compressor 19 is driven to supply air to chambers 11, 12, 13. When a valve provided in a discharge pipe 9 is opened, the powdery or granular material near the opened part of the discharge pipe 9 is fluidized by the pressurized air and conducted under pressure out of a tank 1. At the same time, push plates 10, 10' are thrusted toward the center of the tank 1 because there is a large pressure difference made between the central chamber 12 and the front and rear chambers 11, 13, so that the powdery or granular material is moved toward the opened part of the discharge pipe 9.
