Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled composition, prepared by incorporating a specific titanate compound with a polyester resin composition, having improved storage stability for a long term, capable of giving a film having improved thermal shock and heat resistance, and suitable for an electrical insulating coating material.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A polyester resin composition containing 70% or more polyester resin or polyester-imide resin obtained by polycondensing a polyfunctional carboxylic acid (derivative), e.g. dimethyl terephthalate, with a polyhydric alcohol, e.g. ethylene glycol, is incorporated with (B) one or more titanate compounds expressed by formulasI, II and III (R is alkyl; X is acyl, alkylbenzenesulfonyl, etc.; Y is dialkyl phosphite; X' is dialkylpyrophosphate; A is methylene or carbonyl), e.g. isopropyl triisostearoyl titanate. The amount of the component (B) is preferably 0.01W0.5pt.wt. based on 100pts.wt. component (A).
