Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform the gas cutting with high efficiency, by aiming the gas cutting nozzle at the point of the painted steel sheet to be cut, and by blowing the preheating gas of high-speed flow to the spot just before cutting.
CONSTITUTION: A gas cutting blow pipe 4 and a preheating blow pipe 5 are so fixed via a flat bar 6 by a holders 7, 8 in one body that the center tip distance D between a gas cutting nozzle 1 and a preheating nozzle 2 and the distance d of the two points of intersection of each center line of the nozzle 1, 2 and the upper surface of the painted steel sheet W, the height H1, H2 from the center of nozzles 1, 2 to the upper surface of the painted steel sheet W as well as the delayed angle α, β from the vertical line toward the advancing direction of the nozzles 1, 2 as shown by the arrow mark 3 are attained to the predetermined amount. Then, preheating gas of high-speed flow of 50W100m/s is blown from the nozzle 2 to the spot of steel sheet to be cut by the nozzle 1. Accordingly, the slag generated on the steel sheet W is blown away and removed by the high pressure of the preheating gas, thus preventing perfectly the spattering of the slag on the steel sheet W and the plugging of the nozzle 1, and thus enabling the high efficiency of gas cutting.
