Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a collection of solar light beam at any angle of incident of the light without chasing the sun by a method wherein a plurality of solar light collector devices having a light reflection surface of inner surface of funneral- like cylinder body having one open port larger than the other port are closely contacted with each other.
CONSTITUTION: Light collector device comprised of some hollow trapezoidal polygonal blocks having an apex angle of 60° or less is constructed such that its bottom surface (wide opened plane) is applied as a light receiving port 1 and its top plane (small open plane) is applied as a light emitting port 4. A number of light receiving devices 7 are closely arranged to construct a composite semi- spherical light collector device in such a manner as their light receiving ports 1 are faced on a spherical surface and their light emitting ports 4 are arranged towared a center of the sphere. With this arrangement, in each of the light collecting devices 7, the incident light 6 repeats its reflection at the inner surface 2 of the light collecting device 7 and then collected at the light emitting port 4. Semi-spherical shape of the composite light collector device enables a collection of all incident lights 6 from every direction above the horizontal plane.
