Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the contour of an object which has undulations three-dimensionally and has gloss be made distinct by covering the object to be detected with a ground glass form semi-transparent semi-spherical form object and lighting the object through this with a plurality of external light sources.
CONSTITUTION: An object 7 is covered with a semi-spherical object 13 which is opened with a hole 12 at its vertex so as not to hinder the passage of the light incident to an objective lens 1 and the object is lighted with light sources 14 which are disposed in plurality on the outside. The light from the lighting light sources 14 is scattered as it passes through the semi-transparent object 13 and this scattered light evenly lights the object 7 on ground 15 from the stereo angles of 180° and therefore this is observed through the objective lens 1, whereby the contour of the object 7 may be distinctly viewed.
