Abstract
PURPOSE:To well familiarize a binding belt with a bulb and adhesive layer, by forming the metal binding belt in double construction with a folded part and lap welding its junction part, while pressing and forming said part into a flat shape simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A metal binding belt 10 is partially or fully formed into a double construction having a folded part 11, then the part of a bulb 1 side and the folded part are overlapped to each other and welded, thus compression forming is performed by press work or the like. This metal binding belt 10 is extensively mounted on the bulb 1 by an adheisve layer 2 to prevent implosion by the tension of said belt. In this way, the double construction can obtain good familiarization of the belt with the bulb 1 and the adhesive layer 2, and at the same time the continuous roundness in a folded line 12 can improve its apppearance and workability.
