Abstract

PURPOSE:To concentrate aimed component automatically in high efficiency, by adding the regulation liquid for concentration to the liquid containing the aimed component which is refined by a liquid chromatograph apparatus, sending said liquid to a column for concentration and then, adsorbing the aimed component and after that, taking out the aimed component in high concentration by using elution liquid and regenerating the column. CONSTITUTION:A regulation liquid B2 is added to a liquid containing aimed component which is refined by a liquid chromatograph apparatus in order to regulate in the condition of liquid of absorbing the aimed component to a column for concentration C2 by a pump 2 and said liquid flows to the column C2. The fact that the aimed component is adsorbed to the comumn 2, is detected by a detector D2. After the aimed component is adsorbed sufficiently, an elution liquid B3 is sent to the column 2 by operating a changeover valve V3, a pump P3 and a changeover valve V2 and the aimed component is eluted. A highly concentrated liquid is then collected in a fraction collector F. Next, the column C2 is regenerated by a regeneration liquid B4 by operating the valve V3, V2. Thus, the concentration of the aimed component is automatically carried out effectively.
